- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tsp Sicilian seasoning mix (oregano, basil, red pepper flakes)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a pan, sauté diced onions in olive oil until soft and translucent.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions, breadcrumbs, parsley, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, eggs, salt, pepper, and Sicilian seasoning. Mix gently until just combined.
- Form the mixture into a loaf shape on a lined baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
