- ½ cup toasted hazelnuts
- 3 cloves roasted garlic
- 1 red bell pepper, roasted
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ½ cup fresh bread crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Toss broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet.
- Roast for about 20 minutes until tender and charred.
- While roasting, toast hazelnuts on another baking sheet for 5-7 minutes until fragrant.
- In a blender, combine toasted hazelnuts, roasted garlic, red bell pepper, paprika, lemon juice, and bread crumbs. Pulse until smooth but slightly chunky.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve charred broccoli drizzled with romesco sauce and garnish with extra chopped hazelnuts.
