  • 1/2 cup toffee bits (85g)
  • Sea salt flakes (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and espresso powder. Gradually add this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the toffee bits gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing it out evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
