  • 24 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped and toasted)
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

  3. Bake crust for about 10 minutes until golden brown; let cool.

  5. Pour filling over cooled crust and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, then turn off the oven and allow cheesecake to cool inside with the door slightly ajar.
  7. For the topping, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly.
  8. Once cooled completely, pour the pecan mixture over the cheesecake; refrigerate for at least two hours before slicing.
