  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 cups egg noodles (uncooked)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a large baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onions and garlic powder; sauté for about 5 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. In a bowl, combine the beef mixture with egg noodles, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Top with panko breadcrumbs for added crunch.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
